Toxic regulators name foams, paint strippers as first targets of Safer Consumer Products rules

Spray polyurethane foam is one of three products that California regulators is asking manufacturers to reformulate. They're known to cause severe asthma and suspected to cause cancer in people.

As a major step in an effort to limit Californians’ exposure to hazardous chemicals, toxics regulators have announced the first products they want companies to make over more safely.
