Top SEC compliance chief to leave agency this month

WASHINGTON, April 7 (Reuters) - Andrew Bowden, head of the compliance and examinations office at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, is leaving the agency at the end of the month, the SEC announced Tuesday.

Bowden, 53, joined the SEC in 2011 and has served as head of the Office of Compliance, Inspection and Examinations since June 2013.
