
After the movie “The Fault in Our Stars” grossed more than $300 million world-wide last year, Hollywood studios seized on other works by John Green, the young-adult author whose best-seller gave rise to the blockbuster.
But a novel Mr. Green wrote with Scholastic editorial director David Levithan has taken a different course, sparking a possible musical. Or, more precisely, a musical libretto in search of a composer.
