There are a handful of Texas-related films in the Library of Congress' National Film Registry

This week 25 movies were added to the Library of Congress' National Film Registry, including modern classics "The Big Lebowski," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and "Saving Private Ryan." Older highlights include 1968's "Rosemary's Baby" and 1970's quirky "Little Big Man" starring Dustin Hoffman.

The library selected films for their cultural, historic or aesthetic qualities. This year's selections span the years 1913 to 2004.
