SOUTH BEND Warmer weather is a sure sign of spring, unfortunately, so are allergies. Seasonal symptoms like sneezing, watery eyes and a runny nose affect nearly 1 in 4 people this time of year. While many can manage the symptoms with over the counter medication, others should seek help from a professional.

Dr. Jim Harris, an allergist at the South Bend Clinic, says when allergies get in the way of sleep, work or school, it's time to see a doctor.
