It is called teen angst for a reason. There is a period of time for everyone—sometime in the teen years, sometimes all of the teen years—where there is anger and frustration, depression and joy; the highs and lows that accompany the often violent hormonal swing of puberty.
There is self-realization and the beginning, for many, of self-actualization. There is hope and despair; there is love and loss. This is what it is like to be a teenager.
