Team of Russian Workers Find Odd, 30,000-Diamond-Embedded Rock

At the Alrosa Udachnaya diamond mine, in Russia, workers have unearthed a very strange 30mm rock. While finding a weird rock that might offer some kind of geological discovery is not very rare, finding one which contains 30,000 perfect octahedron diamonds, however, is extremely rare.

University of Tennessee geologist, Larry Taylor, responded that this rock could have immense value to the scientific community. “The exciting thing for me is there are 30,000 itty-bitty, perfect octahedrons, and not one big diamond.
