The country-turned-pop superstar's latest album is now spending its seventh non-consecutive week atop the chart with 430,000 equivalent units that consist of 326,000 pure album sales and 104,000 in track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).
Released last October, "1989" is the first album in 10 years to sell more than 200,000 copies in each of its first nine weeks on sale. The last album to do so was 's "" (2014), which ended up logging 12 non-consecutive weeks of 200,000-plus sales.
