Symphony has diverse schedule for 2015-16

As conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada cites those disparate pieces of the Houston Symphony's 2015-16 season, his hands trace a series of invisible lines on a conference table. From Beethoven symphonies that help hone the orchestra's playing to new works that refresh the repertoire, he says, the symphony sustains a variety of musical strands.

"All these create the universe of the Houston Symphony. All these we share with the audience," Orozco-Estrada says.
