NEW DELHI: Foreign minister Sushma Swaraj has declared she will focus on the problems of migrant Indian workers in Gulf countries. She has called a meeting of members of parliament who represent districts where some of the affected people live — mainly in Seemandhra and Telengana.
The idea, said sources, is to see whether the migrant workers' problems can be ameliorated in any manner. Some of the districts affected are Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Guntur.
