Survey reports gap in views between the U.S. public and scientists

The research conducted by the Pew Research Center revealed that the American scientists and the general public hold vastly different views on many scientific issues ranging from the human evolution and climate change to the safety of genetically modified food.

A poll released on Thursday showed 87% of scientists believing human activity as primary cause of global climate change as compared to 50% of the public believing so.
