Superbug bacteria blamed for 2 patient deaths at Los Angeles hospital

LOS ANGELES -- At least two patients have died and seven more have been infected after being exposed to a drug-resistant superbug bacteria at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

CBS Los Angeles reported more than 100 other patients may have been exposed to the carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae, or CRE, according to a hospital statement.
