Sunscreen sprays can cause severe burns when around open flame, FDA warns

In five separate incidents, people received 'significant' burns after applying spray-on sunscreen and smoking a cigarette, lighting a candle, grilling and other activities, the agency warned consumers.

Spray-on SPF may protect you from the sun, but if you're not careful you could get a different kind of burn.
