Study Suggests Mediterranean Diet Could Increase Lifespan

A new study from Brigham & Women’s Hospital uncovered that sticking to a Mediterranean diet seems to improve telomere length. These are repeated DNA sequences at the end of each of our 26 chromosomes, which get shorter with age. And shorter telomeres are associated with a shorter life span.
