Study Shows Women Who Work Long Night Hours At Higher Risk For Diabetes

A new study from researchers at Boston University’s Slone Epidemiology Center there is a definite connection between long shift work and increased diabetes risk for women.

According to the study authors, in about 35 percent of non-Hispanic blacks and 28 percent of non-Hispanic whites who perform shift work, there is an increased diabetes risk for developing diabetes.
