Same sex couples, especially men, often have a hard time becoming parents. In some states, same sex adoption isn’t recognized, and in others, agencies may be reluctant to work with same sex couples, even if same sex adoption is recognized. However, a recent study challenges the assumption that gay men can’t be parents.

It widely acknowledged that brain activity in women changes after having a baby. However, a recent study conducted at Bar-Ilan University in Israel has discovered that gay men’s brain activity is similar to that of new mothers and new fathers.
