Students rally to replace bullied deaf student's supplies found in toilet

Students have rallied to replace the belongings of a bullied deaf student who found his backpack and supplies dumped in one of his high school’s bathrooms. Alexis Hernandez, who has had cochlear implants since age 1, allegedly was targeted by two fellow students at his Omaha, Nebraska, school, Fox 5 NY reported.

In addition to notebooks and other supplies, Hernandez’s tablet and English project were ruined in the stunt. The 16-year-old’s sister, Analy Luveno, shared a photo on Facebook which led others at Burke High School to start a GoFundMe page in his honor.
