Strip District-based Astrobotic signs up first competitor to send payload to the moon

The way John Thornton envisions it, the Google Lunar XPRIZE race to the moon could look exactly like a real race, complete with a green flag starting unmanned rovers off a starting line, now that at least one of his competitors has signed on to go to the lunar surface with his Pittsburgh team.
