Stocks erased early losses and turned positive in early trading Monday as Wall Street reopens after the three-day holiday weekend and assess Friday's disappointing jobs report.
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 0.1% after initially dropping more than 100 points. The Standard & Poor's 500 index gained 0.2%.
