The brown marmorated stink bug, which arrived in the US from Asia, is now emerging as a major threat to vegetable crops and orchards in the country and the bug is now creating trouble for some Michigan homeowners as they are forced to walk around holding their noses because these bugs stink.
The final weekly report of the Michigan State University Extension's statewide monitoring program for 2014 however said that the insect has not been found in great numbers around surveillance traps set near some fruit and vegetable crops but homeowners are not happy at all.
