It’s official: "Star Trek" is coming back to TV. Well, sort of. The new series will have a “special preview broadcast” on CBS, but the rest of the show will actually live on the network’s digital streaming service.
After the premiere, the pilot “and all subsequent first-run episodes will then be available exclusively in the United States on CBS All Access,” a news release from the broadcaster explained.
