Stand-up comic, 25, falls onto subway tracks, hit by train after texting and walking

Liza Dye, who performs weekly at the Upright Citizens Brigade, fell off a subway platform and onto the rail bed at the Broadway-Lafayette St. stop in Soho Thursday. The operator of an oncoming B train activated the emergency brake, but the first car rolled over Dye, injuring her legs.

The straphanger who slipped and fell from a Manhattan subway platform onto the tracks as a train was approaching is a stand-up comic who is already making jokes about her recovery.
