With much of the world’s population relying on forms of rice as a staple part of their diet, there are certain amounts of health factors caused by its consumption. Those who survive on diets that consist heavily of carbohydrates in the form of sugar are at higher risk for obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. If rice could have the amount of sugars in it cut by 50%, then people all around the world could benefit from a healthier lifestyle.
