As spring approaches, there is a rise in pollen counts, which is not good for allergy sufferers who get itchy eyes, runny noses, skin rashes or congestion. However, those who have such allergies can adopt certain measures to reduce the impact of allergies significantly.

Dr. Michael Keiley, with the Boise Valley Asthma and Allergy Clinic, said pollen from trees, weeds and grass causes these seasonal allergies for most of the people in the Treasure Valley.
