SpaceX delivery mission delayed until New Year

Private space exploration company SpaceX has announced that it won't be flying its next delivery mission to the International Space Station until sometime early 2015. The launch was of the Falcon 9 rocket that was carrying Dragon cargo ship to the station for NASA without any crew members.

Previously, this launch was to take place on December 19 but now it has been delayed partly due to a problem with the rocket. This would be the company’s fifth official mission to the orbiting outpost under a contract with NASA and now it is expected to be launched on January 6.
