A weekend storm dumped up to 2 inches of rain in Southern California, but it is expected to get less soggy as a low-pressure system moves east Sunday, forecasters said.

The rain that arrived Saturday continued to be heavy in some places Sunday morning. But it was expected to taper off during the day, and the evening was forecast to be mostly cloudy with only a 20 percent chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service.
