South Hampton Roads ERs feel the pain

The number of visits to South Hampton Roads emergency rooms has dipped for the first time in years, even as some say the Affordable Care Act is driving up ER traffic in other regions.

Though the trend could signal good news for the community's health and people's pocketbooks, it also means that hospitals and emergency physicians likely will take a financial hit.
