South Africa’s Opposition Disrupt Zuma’s Keynote Address

(Bloomberg) -- South African President Jacob Zuma’s state-of-the-nation address descended into chaos as the main opposition Democratic Alliance party walked out of Parliament after armed security officers ejected members of the Economic Freedom Fighters from the chamber.

After Zuma started delivering his speech, EFF members interjected with a request that the president take a question on whether he will repay money used to renovate his personal residence. DA members left in protest of the presence of armed police in the Cape Town chamber.
