You've heard it before. We spend most of our waking hours at work, and many spend the majority of their time at a desk in front of a computer. Not to mention the hours we commute to work in a car, plane, train, or bus -- sitting. The sedentary lifestyle is a hazard to our health and can also squelch our career advancement.

There are easy ways to become more active at work, which will increase your productivity and your heart rate on the job.
