As hunters take to the fields and forests this week with the start of deer gun season, a potential concern has arisen: Will their kill be diseased?

The state's first case of chronic wasting disease was found in October on a deer farm in Holmes County. The diseased deer came from a Pennsylvania farm that was found to be infected.
