See Prince Harry’s Enthusiastic, Double-Thumbs-Up Photobomb

We’re getting close to a point where you could imagine a five-year-old bounding into his parents’ room and crying, “Mommy, Daddy, if I photobomb a selfie that some strangers are taking, will I become a prince, too?” In other words (in case this vivid scene we’ve just painted didn’t make the point): the British royals are really getting into this photobombing thing. Just last week, the Queen made headlines for giddily angling her way into a selfie taken by two field-hockey players at the Commonwealth Games; and before that, Kate and William have both gotten their photobomb on, as well. (We know, we know, we’re using a very loose definition of “photobomb” here, as none of these examples truly captures the “Surprise! You had no idea I was going to crash your photo!” nature of a standard photobomb; but, we’re dealing with a group of people who shun Twitter and are still listening to Linkin Park—that they are even in the vicinity of a relatively new fad like photobombing deserves our support and slack-cutting.)
