Seals and Dolphins Suffer Irregular Heartbeats When They Dive Deep Into Water: Study

Researchers at the University of California, Santa Cruz, through a recently conducted study, have found that marine mammals like seals and dolphins can suffer from irregular heartbeats when they dive deep into water in search of food.

Researchers said they have proof of cardiac rhythm complications in both Weddell seals and bottlenose dolphins that can prove that sea creatures do face this problem. They said sea creatures come across such complications when they hold their breath during deep drives into water.
