Scientists Uncover Most Complete Steppe Bison Mummy

Researchers have recently found the frozen mummy of a Steppe bison (Bison priscus). This specimen, apparently, died more than 9,000 years ago in Eastern Siberia.

This is not the first frozen bison or frozen mammoth discovered in this region or any other region around the world, but this particular bison may be one of the most significant finds.
