Scientists spot Asteroid with Comet-Like Tail in Main Belt between Mars and Jupiter

A new active asteroid having a comet-like tail has been discovered by astronomers in the main asteroid belt of our solar system between Mars and Jupiter. Dubbed as 62412, the asteroid has been noticed by scientists in the Hygiea family of asteroids in our solar system. According to scientists, it is the first time when a comet-like object has been spotted in this asteroid family.
