Scientists say hormone nasal spray can cause men to eat less

Oxytocin is a hormone known for playing an important role in human intimacy and sexual reproduction. It is sometimes called the "love hormone."

The study found, regardless of weight, men who used the oxytocin nasal spray tended to consume less calories. The study used 25 healthy men with an average age of 27. Of those involved in the study, 13 were at a healthy weight and 12 were overweight.
