According to researchers, amino acids can be assembled without blueprints from the DNA and messenger RNA (mRNA).

Scientists had believed that DNA instructions are always required to produce protein. However, researchers from University of Utah have actually found evidence to prove otherwise. They found that the building blocks of protein, amino acids, can be assembled without instructions from DNA or RNA.
