Scientists discover novel form of Water Ice that exists at Room Temperature

In a study published on Wednesday, an international team of scientists said that they have discovered a novel form of water ice that exists at room temperature.

The ice is present in very thin pockets caught between sheets of graphene where the ice takes a square shape due to the immense pressure. The shape of ice is not like the more familiar hexagonal shape that is seen in snowflakes.
