California’s Death Valley National Park is home to the elusive and awe-inspiring “sailing stones”. It is there that heavy stones seem to move across the dry lake bed known as Racetrack Playa, the only evidence of their movement being the trails left behind in the mud.

The phenomena was first documented in 1915, and in the decades since, these sailing stones have led to all types of speculation from aliens to dust devils. However, in all of the years since the discovery, no one has ever actually seen them move. Until now.
