Dark Matter is a type of matter that accounts for gravitational effects on visible matter while having an invisible mass for itself. Its effects are noticed on visible mass. It is also hypothesized as matter that is not reactant to light. It neither emits nor absorbs light or any electromagnetic radiation at any significant level.
Since its inception 70 years ago, the Dark Matter hasn’t been found in reality but this is about to change as after decades of search, scientists believe they might have found some signs of the elusive Dark Matter.
