More than 100,000 people are expected to parade on Midtown streets on Sunday for the People's Climate March. The event will mark the largest mass protest against global warming in history and will be conducted just ahead of a climate change summit of 120 leaders on Tuesday as part of the UN General Assembly meeting. The summit will be hosted by the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

As so many people are planning to be a part of the march, police have restricted it to Manhattan's West Side, which is far from the UN headquarters or from hotels housing dignitaries.
