School Lunches More Healthy than Packed New Study Says

In a new study that is being published in the November/December issue of the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, researchers at Virginia Tech University found children that bring their lunches to school have, on average, an unhealthier meal than those that buy their meal in the cafeteria.

Over a span of five days, researchers test and observed meals that were brought by three school’s kindergarten and pre-K students.
