This means that the moon may be habitable, Sean Hsu, the lead researcher from Boulder's Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, told USA TODAY Network.

Tiny grains of rock detected by NASA's Cassini spacecraft near Saturn indicate that there may be hydrothermal activity occurring underneath Enceladus's icy surface, Hsu said.
