Saturn’s icy moon Enceladus

Scientists have found evidence for hydrothermal vents on the Saturnian moon Enceladus.

If confirmed, this discovery would make Enceladus the only place other than Earth where such chemical reactions between rock and heated water are witnessed. It would also make this moon a promising place to look for signs of life.
