FREDERICK, Md. -- Saturday marks the 15th National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. This day is recognized across the country to encourage African Americans to get educated, get tested and get PrEP - a pill taken daily that can prevent HIV infection.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, African Americans have the most severe burden of HIV of all racial and ethnic groups in the United States.
