Many entertainers have middle names. Some have two. Quite a few, like William Shatner, do not. Some, like Toby Keith Covel, used their middle name as a stage name. Others, like Alec Rae Baldwin, have middle names that seem an odd fit. Some may be family names, others a form of childhood punishment.
Kurt Cobain (subject of Monday's HBO documentary "Montage of Heck") and his turgid, tormented music seemed well represented by the harsh consonants that began his first and last names. Would his middle name, Donald, have worked as well?
