S. Korean healthcare worker suspected of Ebola contraction in stable condition

BERLIN/SEOUL, Jan. 3 (Yonhap) -- A South Korean healthcare worker, evacuated from Ebola-hit Sierra Leone for fear of a possible contraction of the epidemic, was in stable condition at a hospital in Berlin, German medical officials said Saturday.

The worker, whose identity was withheld, was airlifted to Berlin earlier in the day and admitted to a hospital for tests and observation. The tests included a laboratory analysis of a blood sample.
