S. Korea mulls one step back in Kaesong wage row

SEOUL, March 19 (Yonhap) -- South Korea on Thursday showed some flexibility in its weeks-long conflict with North Korea over the wage for workers at a joint industrial zone as the North is sticking to its guns.

Last month, the North decided unilaterally to revise a set of labor rules to include the elevation of the minimum wage for its workers at the Kaesong Industrial Complex from US$70.35 to $74 starting in March.
