Russia says its aircraft observed all international rules when they flew over a U.S. warship in international waters in the Baltic Sea earlier this week.
The Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday that its SU-24 planes were conducting test flights. In answer to U.S. criticism of the maneuvers, the ministry said the Russian planes merely observed the USS Donald Cook and then turned away, "in observance of all safety measures."

[There is no logical military cause or reason] for the US military to pivot around the world to counter the Russians, China, North Korea and Iran, who the US is not at war with, [unless], the US commander in chief Obama is deliberately diverting and misdirecting as much US military forces as possible away from fighting the terrorists in the middle east and Asia that the US is supposed to be at war against? Think about it? .. Those US military forces are being wasted on military maneuvers that are a waste of time and taxpayer money, while the terrorists have become a real world power and a threat to the whole world? .. Ignorance and incompetence is the hallmark of the Obama administration, [but Obama's actions or inactions against the terrorists], has to be questioned? .. Who's side is he really on? .. Why divert and misdirect all these US military forces where they are not needed? .. It's no wonder the US can't defeat any terrorist group (even the smallest) anywhere in the world? .. just thinking?

Let them (Russians) have their fun. I believe that the CIWS ought to be targeting these aircraft "as a training/safety maneuver. If they were being "toned" , I don't believe they would fly so close.
