Running considered the best exercise to curb cardiovascular diseases

A recent study published in the journal of the American College of cardiology indicates that running is the best form of exercise that can reduce the risk of heart diseases. People who ran for even 15 minutes were at 30 % lower risk from all problems and stood a 45% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease than those who did not run at all. These findings were published after a study was conducted on 55,000 adults over a 15 year time frame in Dallas. Most of them were in the age group of 18 to 100. Most of them were smokers, drinkers with different body mass index and of both sexes. The speed at which they ran did not make a difference.

People are now urged to run at least for 5 minutes a day to reduce the risk of premature death. The mortality risk that is associated with not running is 16% greater when a period is obese, 20% greater if they have a family history of heart problems and 6% higher if their levels of cholesterol are h...
