Rotavirus vaccines saved nearly $1 billion

A new study has found that Rotavirus vaccines have helped in keeping hundreds of thousands of children out of the hospital, saving nearly $1 billion in the last four years.

The study is published in Pediatrics and it clearly highlights the far-ranging impact of childhood vaccinations. The papers are being published at a time when the US is facing its largest number of measles cases in the last twenty years.
